WELCOME TO AFSANAH GUEST HOUSE
 Located near Kottakarai village, to the north-west of the Auroville township, the Afsanah Guest House
is one of the Auroville's best known and long established facilities for guests and visitors from around
the world. Set in quiet and beautiful surroundings, it has been providing a high standard of comfort and
service since 1989, drawing back large numbers of its guests - like old friends - for repeat stays.
 Presently the Guest House has accommodation for up to 18 people, in a variety of single, double and
multiple units.
Contribution ranges from Rs. 550.- to Rs. 2120.- per day depending on the unit and number of people occupying,
inclusive of breakfast and laundry. Lunch and dinner are also available, but have to be separately booked.
Tea, coffee and filtered water are available free throughout the day - compliments of the Guest House
NEWS
The big cottage, now called "Japanese cottage", was totally rebuilt! It offers now tea-kitchen, fridge, air-conditioning.
